Daniel Stid directs the U.S. Democracy Program at the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. The program seeks to strengthen national governing institutions and support trustworthy elections in our polarized age. Previously, Daniel was a partner at Bridgespan, a nonprofit consultancy. Daniel began his career teaching political science at Wabash College. He has also served as a Congressional Fellow on the staff of the House Majority Leader and is the author of The President as Statesman: Woodrow Wilson and the Constitution.
