Milena Batanova

Biography

Milena Batanova is the Senior Research and Evaluation Manager for Making Caring Common. She oversees all evaluation projects involving K-12 schools and families, and she manages research studies seeking to understand Americans' views and behaviors surrounding topical issues, including on politics and mental health.

Before joining MCC, Milena was a postdoc and then a Research Assistant Professor at the Institute for Applied Research in Youth Development at Tufts University. Milena received her PhD in Health Behavior and Health Education from the University of Texas at Austin, where she conducted empirical studies on adolescent empathy and aggression/victimization. She earned a Master's degree in Communication Studies at Arizona State University, where she also worked as a Service Learning Coordinator and Lecturer.
