Jason Dempsey

BIOGRAPHY

Jason Dempsey is the Chief Strategy Officer for Millions of Conversations. Before that, he was an infantry officer in the U.S. Army, with deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. In addition to his conventional assignments, he received a doctorate in political science from Columbia University and taught at West Point. Jason also spent two years in the White House, working on inter-agency efforts to support the military community and on the design and launch of the Joining Forces campaign – a bipartisan effort to connect Americans to those who serve. His final project in uniform was the launch of the Call to Continued Service, a challenge to veterans to continue serving their communities even after they take off the uniform. He is the author of Our Army: Soldiers, Politics, and American Civil-Military Relations and writes and speaks regularly on America’s relationship with its military and the role of veterans in civic life.
