Ted Johnson

Biography

Theodore “Ted” R. Johnson is a senior fellow and Director of the Fellows Program at the Brennan Center for Justice where he explores race and pluralism. He is a retired U.S. Navy Commander, including time as a White House Fellow and speechwriter to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs. His book, When the Stars Begin to Fall (Spring 2021), explores how national solidarity can address the effects of racism.
